First day of school for Scott Alan Miller, 1984. I would be starting third grade. I am eight years old. Every year my parents would take a picture of me standing next to the walnut tree in the front yard. The new house is very new and the dirt from under the old farm house is clearly visible behind me. The new house was completed in December, 1983. The upper portion of the driveway was not yet constructed and to the left you can just see the huge pile of dirt that was dug out from underneath the new house. In later year there would be a gravel driveway right in front of where I am standing in this picture.
