Niagara Falls, 1984

For some reason I really like this picture. It really conveys the chill and wet of the falls while barely showing any of the falls themselves. You get a feel of the scale from the bridge and observation tower. This picture was taken looking roughly north from Goat Island in the Niagara River. There is a tiny waterfall to the left, then the small "observation island" where you can see the people standing and then the American Falls which you can just barely see. The Canadian Falls are behind the camera. You can see Rainbow Bridge crossing from the US into Canada. One of my earliest attempts at "street photography". I really love the grain on this one. The mist and the grain just make the photo.
