Bird Nest in Knossos

Bird Nest in Knossos

We visited the Ruins of Knossos, near Heraklion, again (having first visited with our own kids in 2016.) This is definitely the most "must see" location on all of Crete. It's hard to explain the history, legend, and myth that happened (or is supposed to have happened) here. King Minos, Zeus, the Minotaur, the Iliad, the Odyssey, the labrynth, and on and on. This part of our adventures on our Grand Tour of Europe is in episode five of the Take Flight with Scott video series on YouTube. Please join us there for even more content from this trip. Part five covers our visit to the Ruins of Knossos near the capital of Heraklion, then visiting the legendary Psychro Cave (meaning "cold cave") aka The Cave of Zeus. Take Flight to Crete and the Ruins of Knossos & The Cave of Zeus on YouTube Also, you can follow my personal ZiffedTraveler Instagram or the TakeFlight with Scott Instagram pages for more content and news.
