Flat Stanley is in Newark, New Jersey checking out Manhattan in New York City. Stanley is very excited about going into the city next week to see some of the sights. The Empire State Building is located in Midtown Manhattan. To the right the city becomes lower as it heads towards downtown. To the left of the Empire State Building the city becomes taller as we move towards uptown. Central Park is located in uptown in the middle of the island. Manhattan is an island in the middle of New York City and is the busiest, most expensive and most populace part of the city. Most well known New York City locations are in Manhattan.
