Katie and Flat Stanley are standing in Battery Park on the southern tip of Manhattan. To the west we see Jersey City, the second largest and by far the tallest, city in New Jersey. Jersey City faces Manhattan across the Hudson River and is often considered to be the sixth borough of the city.
