Flat Stanley at Federal Hall National Memorial

George Washington (along with Flat Stanley and Katie) stands in front of Federal Hall - America's first capital. It is on this very spot that the real George Washington (not the statue) took the oath of office to become our first president. Today Federal Hall is a museum and important national landmark.
