Stanley in Tokyo

Waiting for the light to change before crossing the road. You can barely see Tokyo Tower off in the distance. Tokyo Tower is based on the Paris' Eiffel Tower and is today the tallest self-supporting steel structure in the world. It is a popular tourist attraction in Tokyo and has two observation decks. The tower is primarily used for television and radio broadcasts. It was built in 1958. Like the Empire State Building in New York City, the Tokyo Tower is lit with different colors at night to celebrate special events and holidays.
